Abstract: The article presents information about a conference held at the central library in Berlin, Germany on May 3-4, 2007. The opening presentation was given by Jan-Pieter Barbian on the subject of library policy between 1934 and 1945 in Germany. Additionally, a work group dedicated to the collection of data about confiscated books between 1933 and 1945 reported on its progress.
