The article invites readers to discuss the clinical case of a four month old infant who was hospitalized with a mass in the right lower chest wall. The mass, present since birth, was fixed to the chest wall and had a hard consistency. A chest radiograph and contrast enhanced computed tomography (CT) of the chest was performed on the patient. Chest radiograph revealed that right seventh rib was expanded with erosion of the cortex and adjacent ribs were splayed.
