The article develops a testing data set comprising a large number of radial arterial blood pressure (ABP) waveform segments and contemporaneous reference cardiac output by thermodilution measurements, collected in an intensive care unit (ICU) patient population during routine clinical operations. According to the authors, data set is used to analyze a set of investigational algorithms and to establish a public resource for the comparison of alternative CO-from-ABP algorithms.
