WiMAX: A tale of two markets.

The article explores the two distinct types of market situations which are allegedly developing as the WiMAX technology and wireless broadband are penetrating into the wireless communication industry of the U.S. These two markets are emerging markets and mature markets. The author explains that emerging markets require mostly fixed wireless types of access, while mature markets require high point-of-presence traffic, full mobility and deep in-building penetration.
