Abstract
- The article discusses a court case wherein three former University of Phoenix students are seeking class-action status for a federal lawsuit, which accuses the university of using improper tactics to minimize its record on student-loan defaults. According to the lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court in Little Rock, Arkansas, the school "pays off" the loans of students who withdraw then demands repayment under worse terms than the original loans. A response from the university is given.
