Abstract
- The article discusses how graduation rates are measured and why the system is inaccurate. A report written by Paul E. Barton found that the United States does not have an accurate way of tracking how many students are graduating annually with tradition high school diplomas. Barton calls upon the federal government to put a system into place for this purpose.
