Abstract
- The article focuses on how the analysis of a mummy with a computed tomography scanner is revealing information about the life of Egyptian priestess-musicians. The article discusses how the mummy belonging to the Oriental Institute Museum's collection in Chicago, Illinois, was scanned and how the results are on display at the museum's exhibition "The Life of Meresamun: A Temple Singer in Ancient Egypt."
