Abstract

The article focuses on the 25 essential questions for enrollment managers, that can help institutions create enrollment management programs that suit its specific needs. According to Marguerite Dennis, vice president of enrollment and international programs at Suffolk University in Boston, colleges and universities cannot take a cookie-cutter approach to building an enrollment management program. During an online seminar, Dennis said that no one has established with absolute certainty why students select to enroll at a particular college or why they leave. Of the 25 essential questions it include what enrollment problems has the school had in the past, how did the school respond to the problem, and what was the result.
