Abstract
- The article examines whether people with higher social investment are more likely to vote than those with less social investment. The analysis used data from the 2000 Social Capital Community Benchmark (SCCB) in the U.S. and the 2005 Exit and Voices as a Means of Enhancing Service Delivery (EVMESD) Internet survey in Great Britain. It has found that people with higher social capital are more likely to vote while those who are intending to move are less likely to vote than those who have no such intention.
