The Diffusion of Policy Diffusion.

This article aims to understand how policy diffusion works. It reviews the literature and lays out the parameters of diffusion research. It documents studies published on policy diffusion and reports the results of a network analysis designed to determine the central papers and arguments in the field. It uses a qualitative exercise to provide a brief assessment of the diffusion literatures in U.S. politics, international relations and comparative politics.
