Abstract

The article presents various curiosities and facts related to tourism. Algae, microbes, and brine shrimp in the salt ponds of southern San Francisco Bay, California, create an abstract painting of bright colors. Bellhops earn a significant part of their income from tips as a result, they are sometimes paid less than minimum wage. The world's first parking meter was installed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 1935, an invention of local resident Carl C. Magee.
