The article presents a response to a case study that involves the way in which librarians should react to intoxicated patrons. The author suggests that the library director should view the actions of the drunk patron before making a decision on how the situation should be handled. Actions that the author feels that library staff should take in regards to intoxicated patrons are discussed.
