Abstract

The article reports on Cylindrocladium black rot (CBR), a disease in peanuts, which is becoming a problem for peanut growers in the U.S. It states that CBR is particularly a big threat to Virginia type peanuts. It also claims that yield losses from CBR can be severe. On Virginia type peanuts, it can have a great impact on the peanut quality.
