Interest Grows in Solar.

The article deals with the growth in utility-scale solar projects in the U.S., which are focusing on solar photovoltaic (PV) and concentrating solar thermal power (CSP) technologies. The increase in interest in these projects emerged as the government of U.S. President Barack Obama made its intention to support clean energy and renewable energy resources. A description of the PV solar project of the municipal utility Austin Energy is presented.
