Abstract: The article reports the completion of the footprint assessment case for APP China Group Ltd. and its six pulp paper making factories by Camco. It relates that the assessment will help the company reduce energy consumption and help in environmental protection. Meanwhile, China is enforcing a new emission standard for papermaking effective May 1, 2009, which will force to reduce the chemical oxygen demand (COD) emission to 950 000 tons in 2009, and to 434 000 tons in 2015.
