Abstract

Presents a study which focused on the development of empirical and analytical fragility curves for bridges using data from the 1995 Hyogo-ken Nanbu earthquake in Kobe, Japan. Methods needed for the development of fragility curves; Estimation of confidence intervals; Development of combined and composite fragility curves.
