Abstract
- The article focuses on the religion, family background and life of Tiena Wolfe, an Old Colony Mennonite woman in Ontario. Wolfe was appreciative to the Old Colony Church for their support of her all endeavors and combating her husband's abuse. It cites that her initiative remove between Jemeent and the Old Colony religious life. The main goal of the article is to address domestic violence among Old Church members and its effect into the Canadian society. It also explores how she remained strong despite the domestic violence and the dialectical relationship complexity within the Old Colony religious tradition.
