Abstract

The article focuses on the use of three-dimensional (3D) analysis on patients with thoracic apical sagittal alignment in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. It aims to identify the differences between the standard lateral projection and true lateral view of the patient's thoracic sagittal alignment. A total of 66 adolescent patients with idiopathic scoliosis were subjected to biplanar radiographs. Findings reveal that 3D analysis is more accurate than the use of standard lateral radiographs.
