Abstract: This section offers news briefs about artistic activities. An Associated Press report shows that Google Earth has partnered with Spain's famous Prado Museum in an initiative that offers a zoom in feature for people to view the gallery's main works. Sargent Art's Brighter World Art Contest encourages K-12 teachers to submit their students' artwork which can be made from paints, markers, pencils, crayons, pastels, paper or any variety of these as a mixed medium. The Second Annual World Kids Coloring Day will take place on May 6, 2009.
