Abstract
- The article reports that the city council of San José, California has voted against installing Internet filters in the San José Public Library to control the exposure of minors to Internet content. The author comments that decision was motivated by cost issues due to the economic recession. The council approved a policy which would require Internet users in libraries to follow library regulations regarding Internet use.
