Abstract

The article reports that 16 partners of London, England-based CMS Cameron McKenna opted for de-equitisation as part of the law firm's partnership modification. In January 2009, the firm invited partners from struggling practice groups to move into fixed-share status. Duncan Weston, managing partner of CMS Cameron McKenna, said that the partners would receive a one-off payment after leaving their equity.
