Abstract

Msgr. Robert Sheeran, who has led Seton Hall University through 14 years of academic improvements, the opening of a school of diplomacy and three notable basketball seasons, said on Thursday that he would be stepping down as president at the end of the next academic year. He may be best known, however, for leading the university after the deaths of three students in a fire in the Boland Hall residence in 2000. The day the dorm reopened to students, he moved in to live with them. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
