- The article reports on the reduction in number of subscribers of services offered by Sirius XM Radio Inc. in the first quarter of 2009. The company saw about 1.7 million in service cancellations among its satellite-radio subscribers. The unstable economic condition and dissatisfactory car sales were cited by the officials of the company as the reasons for the decline. The company experienced a financial loss totaling $236.6 million.
