Abstract
- Explores the political violence in Japan imposed by the yakuza or the uyoku, two far-right groups in Japan in line with political discussions of taboo subjects. Actions taken by the yakuza against a radio station which allow a discussion on the 1937 massacre in Nanking, China by the Japanese imperial army; Background on the uyoku and yakuza in Japan; Some of the taboo subjects for the far-right groups.
