- Dissects the actual 1968 Battle of Karameh in Jordan and explores its later treatment in Palestinian, Israeli and Jordanian accounts. Revival of the rhetoric and imagery of armed struggle among Palestinians; Palestinian guerrilla forces and Jordanian troops' struggle against an Israeli raiding party; Distortions created by the Jordanian myth and the Israeli countermyth.
