Abstract
- The article focuses on the long-term business plans of father and son farmers James and John Scott of Scotland. It cites the plan of the Scotts to switch from Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) to another bank due to the global economic situation and the banking turmoil. In addition, the Scotts are considering building two holiday cottages that will be funded via the Scottish Rural Development Programme. They will also replace dark grains with home-grown protein peas as an ingredient in feed rations.
