Abstract
- The article discusses the viability of externally funded partnerships developed in response to targeted funding opportunity in New York City. It notes that the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) created the New York City Childhood Asthma Initiative (NYCCAI) for community awareness, understanding and capacity around childhood asthma to lessen prevalence and morbidity. It notes that the contracts of DOHMH offer funds for sustainability plan creation and delivery.
