Abstract

French-Canadian workers in the New England textile industry according to the last migrants] (1985). This oral history describes the initial migration experience of French Canadians who moved to New England during the first half of the 20th century and later returned home to Canada, and it looks at the lives of these migrants as textile workers in the United States. The book enriches our understanding of the French-Canadian diaspora and brings a fresh approach to the subject.
