Development of a collaborative knowledge base tool in a hospital pharmacy department.

The article focuses on the efficiency of the intranet site in the workflow of hospital pharmacy department in the U.S. Intranet sites have been viewed to communication improvement, pharmacy education enhancement, and work efficiency improvement considering that large hospitals have problems in handling information. Managing information can be improved with the used of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, a knowledge based tool, because this can lead to better pharmacy services.
