- Investigates the detailed stability and transport properties of an intense ion beam propagating through an alternating-gradient focusing lattice with initial Kapchinskij-Vladimirskij (KV) distribution, using perturbative particle simulation techniques. Propagation of KV beam distribution over large distances.
