Abstract
- The article discusses views of religious denominations regarding U.S. health care reform. The author discusses protests calling for single-payer health care plans and notes support for single-payer plans by the U.S. Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) and the United Church of Christ (UCC). He notes that the Episcopal Church and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) have not adopted a rigid policy regarding U.S. health care and suggests health care reform should be carried out incrementally.
