Abstract
- Reports that the ultraviolet (UV) irradiation of rare-gas solid-doped xenon matrix dissociates the precursor and leads to the formation and trapping of neutral atoms. Annealing of the matrix to mobilize the hydrogen atoms; Kinetic measurements; Validity of the formation mechanism from neutral atoms for other similar rare-gas compounds.
