Abstract

The article suggests ways on how to become an advocate for students through three teacher-librarian roles that include being an information literacy instructor, a reading advocate and an information management personnel. It mentions the importance of teaching students to learn essential information literacy (IL) and allow for a wide access of information to them. The author relates that it is important for advocates to strive to make students become more enthusiastic readers and problem solvers.
