Abstract
- Discusses the role of chaotic resonances in the Solar System. How human understanding of the Solar System has been revolutionized by the discovery of chaotic motions in planetary orbits; Potential of these motions to change the relative position of planets around stars; How the spin axis of a planet may evolve chaotically, with adverse effects on planetary climates; Possibility that some of the multiple planets contained in extrasolar planetary systems may also be chaotic.
