ACERCA DE LA ENSEÑANZA DEL MODELO ATÓMICO DE BOHR.

In this paper we present an alternative approach for obtaining the mean results of the Bohr's model of the atom. The starting point in our analysis will be the Bohr's correspondence principle, and we will discuss how it predicts the angular momentum quantization rule. It is also our purpose here to show how relativistic corrections to the Bohr model of the atom can be easy obtained from our approach as well as the concept of fine structure. We will also provide and discuss at elementary level some examples of phenomena which can be used to illustrate that the old Bohr's theory can still make an important contribution to their understanding.
