Abstract
- The article focuses on the rheumatology unit at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUB-MC) in Lebanon, which has been using biological therapy in managing patients with rheumatoid arthritis refractory to conventional therapy. It mentions that the teaching hospital has been successfully administering infliximab and rituximab for treating rheumatic diseases. Some cases wherein biological therapy were employed in the hospital are discussed further.
