Abstract

The article reports on the near completion of a programme that buys, demolishes and insulates houses near the Indianapolis International Airport by the Indianapolis Airport Authority in Indiana. The agency has purchased nearly 1,200 houses, farms and other properties and demolished houses in areas with the highest noise. It also insulated 183 houses for free. The agency bought another 115 to be insulated and resold.
