Abstract
- The article offers suggestions for parents on how to involve overweight children with them to lose the extra pounds both of the parents and the kids. For kids aged between 5-8, it recommends to play games such as hide-and-seek for half an hour with the kids which will burn about 30 of their calories and 150 of the parents. For children aged between 9-12, it suggests to go for exercises that combine balance with cardiovascular fitness to boost athletic performance and the overall coordination.
