Abstract
- The article reports that there has been an increase in vandalism and other attacks by animal rights extremists in Europe against pharmaceutical industry employees, executives, and other persons associated with the use of laboratory animals for drug testing. Executives of the stock exchange firm NYSE Euronext have had automobiles and homes attacked by arson.
