Abstract
- The article focuses on the difference in climate change policies adopted by the Liberals of British Columbia (BC) and the New Democratic Party (NDP). It is stated that the Liberals proposed no change to the existing carbon tax that they introduced in 2008. The policy difference, as reported, was that the Liberals called for cap and trade in addition to the carbon tax while NDP's program included a variety of new environmental taxes apart from cap and trade.
