Abstract

The article presents a study regarding the positivity of sexually transmitted disease (STD) tests among men who have sex with men (MSM) at Fenway Community Health (FCH) in Boston, Massachusetts. It states that the prevalence of STD screenings for gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis infection was examined in terms of HIV status, demographic characteristics, and reason for testing. Results show that gonorrhea and syphilis seropositivity are frequently diagnosed among asymptomatic MSM.
