Industrial Applications of Selected JFS Articles.

The article looks at industrial applications of selected studies published in the "Journal of Food Science." In one study, a group of Japanese researchers examined a novel method to shipping sterilized milk using a soft tank made from tarpaulin with high-pressure-resistant zippers. One study focused on the neuroprotective effects of astaxanthin and canthaxanthin in nerve growth factor differentiated PC12 cells. One study examined the changes of headspace volatiles in milk with riboflavin photosensitization.
