Abstract
- The article reports on African violet growers endeavor to produce a true yellow African Violet. Tirst person to produce the true yellow African violet is Nolan Blansit, who calls his yellow hybrids, "Majesty" and "His Promise." Blansit, who resides in Oregon, says he worked 12 years until finally achieving the goal in 1989. Efforts are continuously being made to produce a yellow color hybrid, which includes varieties called Ness' Fantasy Gold, Ajohn's Winter Sun and Ajohn's Yellow Submarine.
