Abstract

The article presents a study on the association of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), a genetic cause of ovarian infertility with cardiovascular disease and Type 2 diabetes (T2D) attuned to the dietary and energetic condition of the Pleistocene. It mentions that heritable adjustments to a high carbohydrate, low protein agrarian diet, with insulin action sensitivity escalation have affected fertility among humans. It also lists several arguments regarding the conditions presented by the authors.
