Selected Papers from the 19th International Congress of Mechanical Engineering of ABCM COBEM 2007.

This article offers information on COBEM, the International Congress of Mechanical Engineering of ABCM. It occurs every two years since 1971. ABCM, which stands for the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Engineering and Sciences, is a non-profit organization of cultural and scientific character. Particular focus is given to the objective of ABCM, along with the Special Issue of "High Temperatures --High Pressures." The 2009 COBEM will be held from November 15-19 in Gramado, Brazil.
