Settlements benifiting from US tax exempt fundraising.

A reprint of the article "Settlements Benefitting From U.S. Tax Exempt Fundraising," by Jonathan Cook, which appeared in an issue of "The National," is presented. It cites the plan of Israeli peace activists in 2009 to intensify their campaign against U.S. organizations that raise funds for settlers in the West Bank by stressing how the tax exemption contribute to the growth of illegal settlements in the area. A report by the International Crisis Group (ICG) revealed the efforts of Christian Zionist groups to raise money for the settlements.
