Electric Propulsion Enables Leap in Exploration.

The article features the 175 kilowatt power generator being developed by the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DAFRA) which is aimed for international space station use. The generator will enable the performance of multiple missions of high mobility spacecraft which include space radar, satellite transfers and communications. Also noted is the ability of the system to propel small probes beyond the solar system limits.
