Abstract

The article presents the findings of a study aimed at determining success rates after pelvic organ prolapse surgery using different definitions. In the study, 18 different surgical success definitions were evaluated in participants who underwent abdominal sacrocolpopexy and it was revealed that definition of success firmly affected treatment success rates after surgery and was also found that absence of vaginal bulge symptoms postoperatively is related to patient's assessment of improvement.
