Abstract
- The article focuses on the hunting technique of Booted Eagles (Hieraaetus Pennatus). It notes that Booted Eagle is an opportunistic raptor classified as a species of Least Concern (LC). It adds that their diets are based primarily on birds and the proportions of prey relies on local habitat and prey availability. It mentions that they hunt from the air but is also flexible in its hunting strategies. Moreover, it presents an observation on its hunting in Spain wherein Booted Eagle caught a prey on the water and kept it underwater for a long time while remaining partially submerged.
