The Influence of Neighborhood Roadways on Respiratory Symptoms Among Elementary Schoolchildren.

The article presents a cross-sectional study which investigates the relationship of living near roadways to children's respiratory health illness particularly among elementary schoolchildren. A cross- sectional prevalence design was used in the study wherein questionnaires were given to the parent or guardian of children enrolled in grades 1 through 8 in the Windsor, Ontario. Results show that roadways are associated with that respiratory health in children.
